Seniors make up a large segment of the population and that figure is expected to grow dramatically in the next couple of decades. And when seniors choose a vacation spot, they often choose seniors cruises as their preferred way to travel. Modern cruise lines love to cater to the senior population too, and provide them with fun activities and entertainment that gives them a lot for their vacation dollar.

Some of the special arrangements that cruise lines make for seniors when cruising are gentleman hosts for ladies who wish to have an escort, special diets that will help seniors watch what they eat even when away from home, and classes on interesting subjects like cooking, wine tasting, music and art, sports and much more. There is something going on all the time to help seniors have a great time while on board.
