Princess Cruises to Be First Sponsor of AT&T Champions Classic Pro-Am Gala Dinner
Dec 7, 2007

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (December 7, 2007) - Princess Cruises will become the first corporate sponsor of the AT&T Champions Classic Pro-Am gala dinner, to be held at the Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center at the College of the Canyons on March 12, 2008.

The dinner is part of the festivities which kick off the AT&T Champions Classic, which runs March 10-16, 2008 at Valencia Country Club.

This annual event is being held for the first time at College of the Canyon's Performing Arts Center, and will include dinner and a special performance by the Beach Boys for the approximate 400 Pro-Am players, guests and sponsors of the tournament.

"Princess has been involved in the AT&T Champions Classic for the past two years, and next March we're delighted to take our commitment to the next level for this premier golf event by becoming the first corporate sponsor of the gala evening in addition to being a sponsor of the tournament," said Jan Swartz, senior vice president of Princess Cruises. "This tournament is a great way to showcase our hometown of Santa Clarita, and we're pleased to be further involved with the signature kick-off event."

The AT&T Champions Classic is the premier Champions Tour golf event in Los Angeles. The 2008 Classic will be played March 10 - 16 at Valencia Country Club, with proceeds to benefit several local charities.
