RSSC Guests Explore their Passions with Celebrity Lectures & Hosts

FT. LAUDERDALE (September 5, 2006) - Guests sailing on select Regent Seven Seas voyages in the next several months will have an opportunity to participate in enrichment programs led by celebrities and leaders in their field of expertise. Regent Seven Seas' Spotlight Series and enrichment programs feature onboard seminars and activities that provide compelling themes for individual sailings.
Renowned names such as songwriters Paul Williams and Richard Adler, actor Ernest Borgnine, newscasters Garrick Utley, Judy Woodruff and Al Hunt and political satirist Mark Russell will provide insights about their life experiences for guests. Famed ocean explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau will also be part of the line's onboard enrichment program, through Regent's ongoing exclusive partnership with Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society.
"Our enrichment programs set the tone for the voyage and enhance guest experiences by providing a more personalized experience for everyone aboard," says Sophie Vlessing, vice president, guest strategy and marketing for Regent. "It is one more way that Regent focuses on customization for guests, and opportunities to be inspired."
Williams, Adler and Borgnine will be featured aboard the 700-guest, all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Mariner. They will be part of the line's Spotlight...is on Film series during the 19-night November 30, 2006, Auckland to Los Angeles segment of the Mariner's Grand Asia Pacific Voyage.
As part of Regent Seven Seas onboard enrichment, Utley, Russell, Woodruff and Hunt will be onboard the 700-guest, all-suite, all-balcony Seven Seas Voyager during different segments of its 111-night World Cruise. Utley will be onboard during the February 3, 2007, 21-night Cape Town to Singapore segment, departing from Mombasa. On the March 10, 2007, 21-night Hong Kong to Muscat segment, Russell will be onboard departing from Mumbai. Woodruff and Hunt will speak during the April 15, 2007, 15-night Monte Carlo to Ft. Lauderdale segment, departing from Tenerife.
Cousteau will also be onboard during the World Cruise April 15 Monte Carlo to Ft. Lauderdale segment. Cousteau's Ocean Futures Society lecturer program will be offered on all segments of the Jan. 9, 2007, 59-night Circle South America voyage roundtrip from Ft. Lauderdale aboard the Seven Seas Mariner as well.
